Ministry in India

Ministry Back in India: A Call to the Nations Within

After years of impactful mission work across Europe, Emmanuel and Preethi have continued their calling in India through their own initiative—PREM Ministries. Rooted in the meaning of “PREM,” which signifies love in Hindi, their mission carries the same purpose: to share the love and hope of Jesus Christ in places where people are searching for meaning, identity, and restoration.

Currently based in India, Emmanuel is actively ministering to local immigrant communities—men and women who have traveled from various states in search of daily labor and ways to support their families back in rural villages. India’s immense cultural and linguistic diversity has led to fragmentation within communities, as each state speaks its own language and holds distinct traditions. Emmanuel sees this not as a challenge but as a divine opportunity: an invitation to plant community-based churches that are culturally rooted, linguistically inclusive, and spiritually empowering.

Through this approach, Emmanuel is forming fellowships that speak the heart language of the people, allowing them to encounter God in a personal and accessible way. These churches become more than places of worship—they are safe spaces of belonging, healing, and discipleship. Whether it’s in the slums, construction zones, or among migrant families, Emmanuel’s vision is to see a movement of grassroots churches that rise up in the name of Jesus across every region.

In Ministry Back in India & the Family Legacy of God’s Service while their international ministry has reached across nations, Emmanuel and Preethi have also remained deeply rooted in their local mission in India. Their hearts beat for the Gospel wherever God places them, and India has always been a foundational ground for their service.

Emmanuel and Preethi have actively partnered with local churches, making themselves available for timely ministry wherever the Word of God needs to be heard. Emmanuel regularly travels across different states in India, preaching and teaching the Gospel, while Preethi collaborates closely with her father, Dr. PJD Kumar, to lead the weekly Sunday Service Choir in their home church.

Dr. PJD Kumar, Preethi’s father, is a renowned Gospel Music Director who has been serving in Telugu Christian music ministry for over four decades. His traditional and contemporary gospel songs have been a source of inspiration and worship for the global Telugu Christian diaspora. His life of humility and devotion has been instrumental in passing on a rich spiritual legacy to both Preethi and Emmanuel.

Meanwhile, Preethi continues to serve faithfully alongside her father, Dr. PJD Kumar, leading the Sunday Service Choir at their Home church. Their weekly worship ministry cultivates an atmosphere of reverence, unity, and encouragement. Together, Emmanuel and Preethi function as a unified ministry team—one focused on evangelism, the other on worship and discipleship.

Their shared mission is clear: to plant churches where people can meet God in their own language, culture, and context—bringing hope to the forgotten and building the Kingdom of God one community at a time.

The family’s contribution extends to major Christian gatherings as well. For more than 20 years, Dr. Kumar has led the prestigious United Christian Christmas Celebration in Hyderabad—an event that unites churches across denominations under the presence of dignitaries, spiritual leaders, and state officials. He has trained and led over 200 singers for these celebrations, creating unforgettable moments of worship and fellowship.

In recognition of his dedication, Dr. Kumar has received accolades for his contributions to Christian music and worship ministry. Through him Emmanuel and Preethi carry forward a beautiful inheritance of faith—where the Word is not only preached but also sung with passion and power.

Together, Emmanuel and Preethi stand as torchbearers of this legacy, committed to seeing lives transformed and nations discipled for the glory of God.

Join us in prayer, support, and partnership as Emmanuel and Preethi step into this new season of Kingdom work—faithfully answering the call to be a light in the heart of Europe.
